Skipping The Gourmet Coffee And Fast Food

Obtaining a payday loan to just make it one more week might help bridge the paycheck gap. Some of us are living paycheck-to-paycheck and for many of us the cash is gone the moment it comes which can cause us to wonder how we will cope with another week. Often, unpredicted payments arise and there's no pushing back certain obligations. How do you stretch your salary and get the bills paid promptly so that you can cope with yet another week until payday?
You need to consider the way you spend your hard-earned money. Quite often we get into a routine and make purchases we do not even consider. We do not take time to understand that when we just put a little thought into the way we are spending our money on a day-to-day basis, we might really have the money we need to reach that payday. The next 5 things will help you spend less, cut costs, and eventually manage for just one more week.

• Skip the Fancy Coffee: At typically $4-$6 a cup, that morning treat might cost as much as filling your tank for that daily drive to work. What you rather do: get that quick caffeine fix or have a ride to work?

• Say "No" to fast food for lunch: Pack a lunch for work; cut costs over time and be healthy. Make sandwiches and bag snacks the evening before, put it in the fridge, and it'll be ready when you leave each morning.

• Do not buy bottled water: It might taste different from what you usually drink, but drinking tap water is okay. If you do not care for the taste your faucet provides, try placing a slice of lemon or cucumber in it. It's better than having to pay for something that's normally free.

• Buy generic: You might be used to purchasing brand names in the supermarket, but when you are trying to make it through the week, buying generic could save you a great deal.

• Coupon Clipping: Shoppers can save a great deal of money when they clip coupons ahead of time. Get on retailers mailing lists to have them send you daily deals and take advantage of "Bogo's" (buy one get one free or half off). You'll find yourself surprised about how much money you can save.

Finally, be proactive about how what methods you chose when trying to supplement your paycheck. Payday loans and cash advances are nice options when you are facing a cash crisis but if taken out for something frivolous, you might setting yourself back financially while simply trying to catch up.
